Nothing to shout about...  (Sat, Mar 31, '07): ...Food was, ok, although they refused to cook our monjayaki....we had miso monjayaki, chose the cheese one but then were told it was going to come with only cheese so we had to add veggies at an extra price...then we had some yaki soba which was ok...service was fast but you wouldn't expect less for this kind of cuisine... Not bad but i won't especially go there, i preferred by far the one in Tsukishima.

Watch your finger!!  (Mon, Feb 5, '07): This place reminds me a lot of a local Hong Kong cafe house if you know what I mean. Very busy, very loud and very... not pretty. But, Interesting. Anyway, so there we are in the okonomiyai land. There was a waiting line but it didn't take long and soon after, we got our little cubicle and the finger killer: the stove. This place is one of the japanese restaurant where you would need to cook your own food. Fun but you got to watch out the border as it is VERY HOT!!! I was too into taking my pictures that I forgot how close my little finger was to the border of the cooking area and a fraction of second later, I went crazy and yell... Aiiyaaaaa!!! nothing I can do, it was burnt and lucky my very nice korea neighbor dig out some of their ice from their drinks and gave them to me. ah..... i need ice...

so anyway, back to the food. It was good and interesting. I would definitely go back to have more. The cooking part was not great, apart the finger cooking, as it was hot. can't imagine doing this in the summer too. We also ordered something called Monjyayaki a la risotto. Very interesing, like good interesting. The good part? The waitress cooked for us. and it was a good and yummy. In Sum, great place if you feel like Okonomiyaki and want to show your visitors some local experience.
