Very good Tandoori
(Sun, Apr 4, '10):
With close to zero expectations, my wife and I travelled to Ginza for some Indian food. As already commented by others, the Tandoori was excellent (we had the mixed grill which was not dry at all, very tender and moist) but my wife and I liked the garlic nan the best. Only tried one curry (butter chicken) and it was decent. We also ordered some spicy scallop and this was a disappointment (bland and overcooked). We also liked the interior of the restaurant (very warm ambiance with the lights and soft-colored walls). On the downside, the service was a bit shoddy. We waited a very long time for our nan and curry and the waiter kept dropping everything (a straw at my table, the lid of a small pot at another table and was just sloppy). The price wasn't too bad (with drinks, less than 4k each). I will be back because despite its faults, it does make one thing better than everyone else: the tandoori.
