Welcome to vaou.com. vaou is a site where you can find restaurants reviewed by real people just like you and me. You can add your own review or restaurant, find a new restaurant or get notified when one of your favorite reviewers just shared a new dinning experience - good or bad!

I started vaou about two years ago as a small project and one thing lead to another, it has grown to a site that has more than 800 restaurants and reviews, and with thousands of pictures. Besides Tokyo, vaou has also started its presence in Hong Kong thanks to many of you who've been participating in the growth of vaou. It is hard to see where vaou will go next but one thing is for sure, it will always provide real reviews by real people.

What does vaou mean? vaou is from the french as "on va où" meaning 'where are we going'? It is pronounced like 'va-oo' as in food.
